FC 1000 Air-operated fire damper
Leak-tight cylindrical double-barrier damper for nuclear containment
FC 1000 fire dampers have particularly high levels of operability and manoeuvrability,
with high fire resistance.
KEY FEATURES
Tapered dry seating surface
3 hours fire resistance
Cylindrical shape
Remote operation
Operable at high temperatures
Earthquake proof
Proven reliability and strength
PRODUCT STRENGTHS
3 hours fire resistance
Dimensions: DN 150 to DN 600
Operable at temperatures up to 400°C
Normally open, automatic closure controlled by thermoelectric
trip system inside / outside the duct
Air-operated using one of the following actuators: GTD or GTE quarter-turn actuator
TECHNICAL DATA
Body: Stainless steel (Z2 CND 17-12) + insulation
Blade: Supalux S (calcium silicate), with stainless steel plating (Z2 CND 17-12)
Shafts: Stainless steel (Z2 CND 17-12) rotating on a graphite ring bearing
with a packing box seal
Sealtightness:
- internal/external leak rate < 100 l.h.m² at 1500 Pa, class 3 containment
as per NF M 62-211
- upstream/downstream leak rate < 800 Nm3.h at high temperature at 1500 Pa
ACTUATORS
Quarter-turn double-acting or single-acting pneumatic actuator
Possibility of 1 to 3 sets of voltage free (dry) open / closed limit switch contacts
NAMUR 3/2 – 5/2 monostable or bistable valve interface or ATALANTE control unit (option)
ACCREDITATION
